Some of the New Young Adult Books

Slam by Nick Hornby
Sam is an ordinary kid, from a line of people who always messed up their lives early on. He loves skateboarding, talks to his Tony Hawk poster, wants to be a graphic art designer, and his love life is just starting to bloom. So he's blindsided when his ex-girlfriend Alicia reveals that she's pregnant, and that she intends to keep the baby.

Dance with a Vampire by Ellen Shreiber
Third in the Vampire Kisses series, Dance with a vampire follows Raven and Alexander through Dullsville. Raven's dream has always been to fall in love with a vampire...but she never expected it to acutally happen.
Read the manga, Blood Relatives, that goes with the sereis!

White Darkness by Geraldine McCaughrean
I have been in love with Titus Oates for quite a while now which is rediculous, since he's been dead for ninety years. But look at it this way. In ninety year's I'll be dead, too, and the age difference won't matter.
